Strides Makers & Creators Camp
For the children who always have something in the works.
A drawing on the table. A structure taking shape. An idea they want to try.
New for summer 2027, Makers & Creators Camp gives children time to explore art, building, and design through hands-on projects. At our Petaluma ranch in Sonoma County, campers can experiment with ideas, make creative choices, and enjoy creating alongside new friends.

What campers will experience
Art and creative expression
Art projects give campers opportunities to explore ideas and make something that reflects their own interests.
Building and making
Hands-on projects invite children to think about how things fit together, try an approach, and make adjustments along the way.
Design and experimentation
Campers explore the process of taking an idea and developing it through creative decisions. Trying, changing, and trying again are part of the experience.
They bring the ideas. We make room to explore them.
Your child does not need to arrive with art experience or know exactly what they want to make. Makers & Creators Camp welcomes curiosity and a willingness to try.
The focus is on enjoying the process: making choices, exploring possibilities, and seeing where an idea leads.
A creative summer camp in Sonoma County
Makers & Creators adds a new option for families looking for a project-focused summer camp in Petaluma. It also makes it easier for siblings with different interests to enjoy Summer at Strides together, each in the program that suits them.
